Fan-favorite pup Marshall lends his fire truck theme to this gift set and invites viewers to join him and the PAW Patrol for over 12 hours of heroic rescues. It really doesn't take too much effort to make this fun costume that your Paw Patrol obsessed kid will love! I love that there's no sewing involved and the chances are that you will have a fair bit needed in their wardrobe already.This holiday season, the PAW Patrol®, produced by Spin Master Entertainment, is on a roll with their biggest collection of rescues on DVD in a limited edition gift set, PAW Patrol: PUP-tastic! 8-DVD Collection. (I skipped this step for the shoot, as you can see!) Using double sided tape, adhere the ribbon and logo to the top of the vest. Once the ribbon is cut, cut out the logo and hot glue to the center of the ribbon. Measure the length of the ribbon to wrap around the top of the vest and cut accordingly.Print out the Logo image (you can find the link in the Supplies section.).To Make the Collar for the Paw Patrol Skye Costume: (I was afraid this would stay, but she's been playing with it constantly and the wings are still intact!) Also, they can use the backpack as their trick or treat pail. Allow to dry then hot glue to the sides of the backpack.Cut out two pieces of cardboard and spray paint both sides silver.To Make the Backpack for the Paw Patrol Skye Costume: Use the remaining fabric and a couple of pipe cleaners to fashion a tail.Use the pipe cleaners to glue around the edge, adding structure.With the faux fur fabric, draw a similar shape, but shorter leaving a bridge of fabric between the two ears to wrap the headband.Cut out with the fabric still folded so that you end up with two matching ears. Fold the tan fabric in half and draw the shape of Skye's ears.To Make the Ears and Tail for the Paw Patrol Skye Costume: access to a printer to print out the Skye logo for collar.1 yard of "furry" fabric (see pics below!).(Which is why as much as that collar should have been hot glued to the vest so it wouldn't move around, I just couldn't bring myself to do it!)
